The 31st annual Run for the Roses 5K Walk/Run is April 12, 2014 beginning at 8 a.m. Run for the Roses Committee members wish to encourage participation from residents of Jeff Davis County stating in the past out of county participation for the event has far outnumbered that of our local citizens.
Local Businesses and organizations sponsor this event and proceeds go to fund scholarships and community improvements.
Some incentives to participate include the male and female who break the current records will receive $500 cash awards and the JDC school with the most participants will receive an award.
