Graveside services were held Tuesday, June 17, 2014, at Prentiss Cemetery for William Craig Stamps, age 66, of Ocean Springs, formerly of Prentiss, who passed away on June 9. Rev. Ben James officiated.

Craig was born December 25, 1948, in Prentiss. He was the son of Earl and Helen Waldrop Stamps.

He worked at Stamps Guaranty, Inc. with his father and brother Randy for many years. He later moved to the Gulf Coast where he used his artistic talents refinishing woodwork on old boats and doing custom work on motorcycles.

He is survived by his daughter, Stacie Pitts of Hattiesburg; and two brothers, Dennis Stamps of Ocean Springs, and Randy Stamps of Prentiss.

His parents precede him in death.
