The Jefferson Davis County Chamber Partnership held their successful fundraiser featuring the JDC All-Stars playing basketball against the Harlem Ambassadors Thursday, February 6. Keith Bridges (left), agency manager of the Jeff Davis County Farm Bureau and Caren Davis (right), branch manager of Hancock Bank were proud sponsors of the “Stay in School, Stay off Drugs” school assemblies for grades K-8 held at Carver Elementary and J.E. Johnson Elementary Schools on the morning of the event.

Other local sponsors included Superintendent Ike Haynes and the Jeff Davis County School Board for the use of their facility at Prentiss High School, M.G. Dyess, Woolwine Ford, State Farm Insurance, Dungan Engineering, Johnson Funeral Home, David Cloyd, DDS, Saulters Moore Funeral Home, Southern Pine EPA, Town of Prentiss, Hudson Drugs, Western Motel, Sue Shivers Worthy, Clint Langley, John Davies, Town of Bassfield, Speights Cash & Carry, JDC Board of Supervisors, Sudz Laundromat, and Wards of Prentiss.
