Funeral services were held Wednesday, October 1, 2014, at Saulters Moore Chapel in Prentiss for Mason Pierce Berry who passed away on

September 28 at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, MS. Interment followed at Bethany Cemetery. Saulters Moore Funeral Home of Prentiss was in charge of all arrangements.
Rev. Tommy Broome and Bro. Jay Bass officiated. Pallbearers were Morgan Berry, Patrick Bridges, Layke Daughdrill, Peyton Dungan, Dillan Langley and Kody Miller.
Honorary pallbearers were Prentiss Christian School Class of 2014 and Prentiss Christian School Varsity Football Team.
Mason was born on March 29, 1996, in Hattiesburg. He was the son of David and Lisa Berry. He was a talented and enthusiastic football player for and graduate of Prentiss Christian School and was recently working as a carpenter’s helper.
He is survived by his parents, David and Lisa Berry of Prentiss; his brother, Morgan Berry and his sister, Madelyn Berry both of Prentiss; his grandparents, Ford & Melba Berry of Monticello and Kitty & Gary Berteau of Carson; his grandmother, Joyce Pierce of Carson.
He was preceded in death by grandfather, Herbert D. Pierce.
