Audrey Faye Keys

Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 12, 2015, at St. Paul MB Church, Bassfield, for Mrs. Audrey Faye Keys, 48, who died Sunday, May 5, at her residence in Hattiesburg. Rev. Henry Kelly officiated with interment following in the Wheeler Cemetery, Bassfield. Johnson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Audrey Faye Keys was born in Jefferson Davis County to the late Emma Lou Keys Reese and Thomas Earl Reese. She was the first of three children. She was the mother of two children, Audrianna and Ervin. She was married to Lee Vernon Bass.
She joined St. Paul MB Church at an early age and later joined Holly Springs CME Church but, later returned to St. Paul MB Church and remained a member until her death. She enjoyed singing.
Mrs. Keys was a graduate of Bassfield High School. After graduation, she worked at Collinswood Poultry Plant in Collins; Prentiss Extended Care Facility and Wards Restaurant and Ramey’s Food Center.
She was preceded in death by one great niece, Mairyha Thompson.
She is survived by husband, Lee Vernon Bass; two children, Audrianna (Marcus) Keys of Hattiesburg, and Ervin McCullum of Hattiesburg; children’s father, Earl McCullum of Hattiesburg; one grandson, Marcus Barnes, Jr.; one sister, Diane Reese of Bassfield; many other relatives and friends.
