Mr. & Mrs. David Fortenberry of Prentiss are proud to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter Kayla Marie

Fortenberry to Patrick Colby Mashburn, so of Mr. & Mrs. Michael Mashburn of Waynesboro. The wedding is set to be held on Saturday, November 7, 2015, at 4:00 p.m. in Hattiesburg.

Kayla is the daughter of David & Suzy Fortenberry of Prentiss. She is the granddaughter of Ann & the late John Griffith of Prentiss and Bob & Gwen Fortenberry of Prentiss.

Kayla has been employed at The University of Southern Mississippi Moffitt Health Center since 2007. She is also enrolled at The University of Southern Mississippi and plans to graduate in the summer of 2016.

Patrick is the son of Mike & Kim Mashburn of Waynesboro. He is the grandson of the late Woodrow & Marian Mashburn of Waynesboro and the grandson of Ward & the late Catherine Pitts of Waynesboro.

Patrick has been employed with Transocean since 2010.

The two plan to reside in their home in Petal.
