Funeral services were held Wednesday, November 2, 2016, at Progress M. B. Church, Bassfield, for Teretha Ann Myers, 49, who died Tuesday, October 25, 2016, at Jefferson Davis Community Hospital, Prentiss.  Rev. Marcus Hull, pastor, officiated with interment following in the church cemetery.  Johnson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Teretha Ann Myers was born to the late Lora Jean Myers in Jones County.  She attended Bassfield High School and graduated in 1985.  She worked at Prentiss Complex, Bassfield Texaco and Song Health and Rehabilitation.  She was a member of Progress M. B. Church.

She is survived by: three sisters, Bobbie Baker, LaDonna Booth and Bobbie Magee all of Bassfield; special friend, Ray Walker of Bassfield; one brother, Thomas Earl Booth, Jr. of Bassfield; one aunt, Mary Nell Myers of Columbia; close friends, Raymond and Kewana Walker both of Bassfield; one Godson, Emmanuel Turner of Ellisville; many other relatives and friends.
