Funeral services were held Wednesday, May 3, 2017, at Prentiss Institute Rosenwald Building for Mrs. Bernice Bowling Williams, 89, who died Thursday, April 27, 2107 at Bedford Care, Hattiesburg. Rev. Clementine Echols officiated with burial following in Green Grove Church cemetery.  Johnson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Bernice Williams was born to the late Robert and Rosie Bowling.  She was a member of Mt. Olive Church where she was an active member until her health failed.

She was survived by: son, Alvin (Lourinda) Williams; two granddaughters, Adria and Aprille Williams,  step-daughter, Patricia
