Funeral services were held May 20, 2017, at Harmony M. B. Church, Mt. Olive for Mr. Samuel Holloway, 81, who died May 11, 2017 at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson.  Rev. Demetrius Pittman officiated with burial following in the church cemetery.  Johnson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Holloway was born to the late Paul and Margie Holloway in Jefferson Davis County.  He was a member of Harmony M. B. Church. He was a former truck driver with Ralph Walker Trucking Company.

He is survived by his wife, Mildred; children, Samuel (Rose) Holloway, Eddie (Kim) Holloway, Nikkie (Darryl) Graham, Carl Holloway, Margie Holloway, Stacie Sheriff, Gayle (Amanda) Holloway, Andra Holloway; Shelia (Jesse) Brown, Charles Lovett; two sisters; one brother; many other relatives and friends.
