Students improve school grounds

As summer came to an end, three sons of local teachers, Robert and Kim Young, volunteered to make a difference in the community. Cameron Brown, Kori Dodson and Kendrick Brown spent one of their last vacation days helping create gardens along the walkway outside the library at the new J.E. Johnson school site.
These brothers worked together hauling gravel, pulling weeds, cleaning the area and arranging plants donated by the school’s librarian, Jamie Moore, a JEJ science teacher Allison Butler and. Joel and Susan Hoxie, local 4-H volunteers.
Children are the future, and that future is certainly made brighter because of kids like Cameron, Kori, and Kedrick.
