Charles Ray McInnis

Funeral services were held Saturday, Jan. 13, 2018, at Point Pleasant M. B. Church, Mt. Olive, for Mr. Charles Ray McInnis, 67, who died on Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2018, at Forrest General Hospital, Hattiesburg. Rev. Johnny Mosley officiated with interment following in the church cemetery.  Johnson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Charles Ray McInnis was born to the late Tom and Maxine McInnis in Jefferson Davis County. He attended J. E. Johnson School. He was employed at Magnetek before working at Georgia Pacific for over 30 years until his health failed.

He was preceded in death by: sister, Annie White and brother, Joe W. McInnis.

He is survived by: companion, Bonnie Smith; children, April Smith, Charles McInnis, Michelle Feazell, Tehari Allen and Gregory Jackson all of Prentiss; Terunka Newsome of Memphis, Tennessee and Timothy Allen of Jackson; five sisters, Annie McNair of Mt. Olive, Maxie McInnis of Killeen, Texas, Mildred Kumar, Maurice Newton and Mary Newton both of Prentis; six brothers, Dan (Janice) McInnis of Hattiesburg, Arvell McInnis of Mt. Olive, Mitchell Holloway and Michael Holloway both of Gulfport, Johnny (Shirley) Holloway of New Orleans, Louisiana and many other relatives and friends.
