Rose Roth Homan

Funeral Services for Rose Elizabeth Roth Homan were held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2018, at the Wade Funeral Home Chapel in Collins. Mrs. Homan, 73, died Saturday, Feb. 17, 2018, at her residence near Collins. Dr. Nathan Barber officiated and interment followed in the Old Chapel Cemetery in Covington County.
Wade Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers were Byron McClure, Garrett McClure, Colby Graves, Jasper McRaney, Tony Thompson and Charles Michael Buckley.
Rose Elizabeth Roth Homan was born on May 2, 1944, in Greensboro, North Carolina, to Clark Roth and Willie Mae Pope Roth. Mrs. Homan was a homemaker.
Mrs. Homan was preceded in death by her mother and father and her husband Charles “Chuck” Homan.
Survivors include two sons, Timothy David Hanegan of Grand Isle, Louisiana, and Trenton Blaise Hanegan and his wife Tracey of Collins; one daughter, Tasha Shalon McRaney and her husband Greg of Prentiss; five grandchildren, Trenity Bliss Hanegan McClure, Tristen Balee Hanegan Graves, Tralyn Briar Hanegan, Gregory Jabe McRaney, and Jasper Coltrain McRaney; four great-grandchildren, Rileigh Mae McClure, Chesnie Kay McClure, Garrett Blaise McClure, and Baylor Austin Graves; well as a host of other relatives and friends.
