Funeral services were held Thursday, Dec. 12, 2019, at Johnson Funeral Home Chapel for Mrs. Mary L. Hall, 74, who died Friday, Nov. 22, 2019, at Jefferson Davis Community Hospital in Prentiss. Rev. Robert Ross officiated with interment following in the Griffith Cemetery in Prentiss. Johnson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Mary L. Hall was born to the late Robert and Mary Brown Whitehead in Meridian. She attended school in Lauderdale County, Mississippi. She was married to the late Leon Hall. She relocated to Prentiss after marriage and joined Sweet Beulah Church of God in Christ.

She is survived by son Wimberly Cook of Ohio; daughter, Mary Hooker of Louisville, Kentucky; four sisters, Pearlie Green of New Albany, Indiana, Bonnie Green, Ruby Whitehead and Barbara Whitehead all of Louisville, Kentucky; six brothers, Robert Whitehead of Chicago, Illinois; Eddie Whitehead, John Whitehead and Jimmy Whitehead all of Meridian; Frank Whitehead of San Diego, California; Willie Whitehead of Louisville, Kentucky and many other relatives and friends.
