Willie Pearl Watts

Funeral services were held Saturday, Feb. 29, 2020, at South Pleasant
Hill M. B. Church for Mrs. Willie Pearl Watts, 80, who died Sunday,
Feb. 23, 2020, at her residence. Rev. Robert Collins officiated with
interment following in the Mt. Zion Church cemetery. Johnson Funeral
Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Willie Pearl Watts was born to the late Lewis Odum and Carrie Mae
Williams. She joined Mt. Zion M. B. Church and later moved her
membership to South Pleasant Hill M. B. Church.
She was preceded in death by: daughter, Carolyn Lockhart; three
brothers, Joseph Williams, Harmen Williams and Johnny Williams; one
sister, Charlene Williams.
She is survived by her husband, Robert E. Watts; two sons, Alan
(Pamela) Watts of Atlanta, Georgia and Calvin Williams of Little Rock,
California; one daughter, Cosilda Watts of Prentiss; five
grandchildren, Lashonda (Andre) Parker of Snelville, Georgia; Kimberly
(Cory) Williams of Bay St. Louis; Terrance Gatlin and Ishika Watts
both of Prentiss; Alan Watts II of Atlanta, Georgia; six
great-grandchildren; four sisters, Minnie Berry of Pinola, Essie
Newsome, Mary Myers, Bertie Daniels all of Prentiss; two brothers,
Willie Williams of Prentiss and Charlie Williams of Magee and many
other relatives and friends.
