A two vehicle collision Monday morning injured both drivers on Hwy 13 North just outside of Prentiss. Kendrick Potts of Mount Olive, the driver of the maroon Chrysler 300 and Jimmy White of Jackson, the driver of the red Impala, were both transportated for treatment of their injuries after their vehicles collided head-on. Law enforcement officers received a call about a maroon Chrysler speeding and passing on a double yellow line just prior to the accident. According to officers, Potts stated he swerved into the path of the Impala driven by White to avoid hitting a car traveling at a slower pace in front of him.
