Datavion Fairley

Funeral services were held Saturday, June 20, 2020, at Westhaven Funeral Homein Magee, Mississippi for Mr. DaTavion “Pepe” Fairley, 19, who died Monday, June 22, 2020, in Simpson County. Rev. Christopher Moore officiated with interment following in the North Pleasant Hill Church Cemetery in New Hebron. Johnson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. DaTavion Fairley was born to Miss Dimitric Fairley-Keller and Mr. Travis Barnes. He joined North Pleasant Hill Baptist Church at an early age and served on the usher board. He attended Magee Public Schools.
He was preceded in death by his uncle, Kwame Fairley.
He is survived by his son, DaTavion Oatis of Prentiss; mother, Dmitric Fairley-Keller and stepfather, Terry Keller of Brandon; father, Travis Barnes of Prentiss; brothers, DaVonta Calero and DeIvion Fairley both of Magee; sisters, Tykeya Black and Candise Walker both Prentiss; step-sister, Talliyah Keller of Soso; grandparents, Rutha Fairley of Magee, Kenneth (Linda) Moore of New Hebron; Ida Barnes of Prentiss and Harry Barnes of Mendenhall; many other relatives and friends and special friends, Natavia Oatis and Eilbert Easterling of Prentiss.
