Funeral services were held Saturday, Aug. 8, 2020, at Johnson Funeral Home Chapel for Mr. Timothy Harold Williams, 55, who died Sunday, Aug. 2, 2020, at Sonny VA Medical Center, Jackson, Mississippi. Elder Linell Henderson officiated with Johnson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Timothy Williams was born to the late T. H. and Mrs. Katherine Williams in Jefferson Davis County, Mississippi.  He joined Green Grove Church at the age of thirteen.  He attended Prentiss Elementary School and High School, graduating with honors in 1983.  After graduation, he continued his education at Jackson State University, then enlisted in the U. S. Army.  He served four years in Frankfurt, Germany and received an honorable discharge.

Mr. Williams was employed with Millcreek of Magee, Town of Prentiss and Prentiss Complex.  He later received his Contractor License and began repairing homes.

He was preceded in death by brother, Theordore Williams Jr. and nephew, Micah Alford.

Mr. Williams is survived by his son, Timauri Robertson and daughter, Princess Lott both of Prentiss; mother, Katherine Williams of Prentiss; sisters, Ruth Williams, Rebecca Gleghorn both of Prentiss, Rachel (Stevie) Moore of Collins; Rhoda Williams of Perkinston; one brother, Titus Williams of Atlanta, Georgia; two special nieces he reared as his own, Dr. Jamesia Showers-Alford of Atlanta, Georgia and Ryjiah Gleghorn of Prentiss and many other relatives and friends.
