Jefferson Davis County High School has recently announced the teacher of the month and staff member of the month for August  2020. Teacher of the month is Taylor Copeland. Copeland is new to the JDCHS faculty, but she has already made an indelible mark on the staff. “She is a whiz at Google Classroom and we are all taking advantage of her knowledge,” said JDCHS Principal Carrie Hammond-Walker.  Copeland is the Mississippi Studies and French teacher at JDCHS. Staff member of the month is Kim Hathorne. Hathorne has been a member of the staff for 23 years. She is one of Jefferson Davis County High School’s most valued staff members and is an asset to the entire staff. Hathorne is the school’s secretary.
