Funeral services were held Saturday, Sept. 12, 2020 at Johnson Funeral Home Chapel for Mrs. Lottie Bell Hooker, 66, who died Saturday, Sept. 5, 2020 at Merit Health Central Mississippi Hospital in Jackson.

Rev. Barnes officiated with Johnson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Lottie Bell Hooker was born to the late Ray and Hattie Hill in Lawrence County.

She joined Springhill M. B. Church.  ––She graduated from Lawrence County High School and worked at KLH and Sanderson Farms for many years.

Mrs. Hooker was married to Mr. Reginal Hooker.

She was preceded in death by siblings, Ray Hill Jr., Micheal Hill and Mary J. Stringer and four nephews.

She is survived by her husband, Reginal Hooker of Prentiss; sons, Shirley Hill, Calvin Stringer and Josh Hartzog; Marcus Washington (nephew she raised); daughters, Helen Silmon, Kim Jackson, Beatrice Young and Carolyn Ross; three sisters, Helen Washington, Carolyn Mikell and Georgia Lewis; 21 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
