The Jefferson Davis County Board of Supervisors and JDC Emergency Management Director Jocelyn Ragsdale, in conjunction with Perfect Pact, will distribute 1200, 30-pound boxes filled with a combination of fruits, vegetables, pre-cooked meat, cheese, cultured dairy and fluid milk.

Boxes will be distributed to JDC citizens from churches in the county beginning Oct. 16 and will continue for four weeks each Friday.

Churches participating are: OutReach Fellowship, Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, Springhill Missionary Baptist Church, South Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, Short Chapel CME Church, Sweet Water CME Church, Blackmon Temple CME Church, Progress MB Church, Holly Springs CME Church,  Bethany Baptist Church,  Bassfield Pentecostal Apostolic Church,  Greens Creek Baptist,  Prentiss Baptist Church,  Whitesand Baptist Church,  Prentiss First Baptist Church,  Mt. Olive CME Church, James Hill Church and North Silver Creek Church.

Each church will designate its own distribution time.
