JDC Supervisors declare March as Clean-Up Awareness Month
During their first February meeting, the Jefferson Davis County Board of Supervisors deemed March as Clean-Up Awareness Month for Jefferson Davis County.
The Board suggests that every neighborhood in the county take the initiative to pick up trash, move non-running vehicles and fix up neighborhoods.
“We pick up trash constantly, and it is back in no time,” said a supervisor.
“We need everyone’s help in the county to control this problem. It takes the help of everyone.”
They are also challenging churches and their congregations, schools and their staff and students and businesses and their employees to participate.
Contact your supervisor for bags and assignment of roads, or to give your location of cleanup.
