Those interested in learning more about the complex world of timber taxation, are invited to join the MSU Extension on Feb. 9-10 from 11 a.m. until noon. For each session, one hour of CFE, continuing education for foresters, credit applied from the Society of American Foresters.

You must register separately for each day. You will receive a separate e-mail for each day you register. Topics include: Income Tax Overview, Establishing Timber Basis and Casualty Losses on day one and Timber Sales Income, Management Expenses, Reforestation and Tax Planning on day two.

This is a two-part meeting, feel free to attend one or both depending on your circumstances.
