Graveside services were held Friday, March 26, 2021, at Galilee Baptist Church for Mr. Rickie Williams, 69, who died Sunday, March 14, 2021, in Santa Fe, New Mexico.  Rev. Harold Gholar officiated with Johnson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Rickie Williams was born to the late Cardell Williams Campbell in Jackson.  He attended Compton Unified School District in Compton, California. He furthered his education at Job Corps where he received a certificate in typewriter repair.  He went on to be employed by the Compton School District for many years.  He was an outdoor person raising pigeons, fishing and crawfishing. He worked at San Pedro Pier in San Pedro, California.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Annie Jane Walker Galvin and two brothers, Ronnie and Howard.

Mr. Williams is survived by two brothers, Claude Davis of Prentiss; and Armon (Carolyn) Williams of Victorville, California; two sisters, Pamela (Percy) Bethea of D’Lo, and Kim (Richard) Tucker of Utah; pet, Major and many other relatives and friends.
