Due to the threat of hazardous weather later today, April 9, J.E Johnson Elementary and G.W. Carver Elementary will dismiss at 12:15 p.m. Jefferson Davis County High School will dismiss at 12:30 p.m.

Three rounds of severe weather are possible in JDC from mid-afternoon Friday, through early Saturday morning. The National Weather Service in Jackson has predicted that round three will be the worst. However, weather can change quickly so please stay aware throughout Friday evening into early Saturday morning.
