Graveside services for Mr. Donald Leland Wigington were held 11:30 a.m., Monday, June 7, 2021, at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Simpson County.  Rev. Trent Sullivan officiated.  Mr. Wigington, age 84, passed away on Saturday, June 5, 2021, at Brandon Nursing and Rehabilitation in Brandon.

Mr. Wigington was born Feb. 4, 1937, in Prentiss.  He was the son of the late James Clinton Wigington and Hazel Mattie Lee Wigington.  Mr. Wigington worked in the poultry industry for many years; in addition, he was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Simpson County.

He is survived by two brothers; James Wigington of Plano, Texas and Joe Wigington of Madison. He also leaves behind two sisters; Linda Brinkerhoff of Brandon and Margie Majure of Madden.

Mr. Wigington was preceded in death by his mother and father.

Visitation was 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. Monday, June 7, 2021 at Saulters Moore Funeral Home in Prentiss.

Saulters Moore Funeral Home of Prentiss was incharge of arrangements.
