Funeral services for Mrs. Pauline King Lundy were held 3 p.m. Wednesday afternoon, June 9, 2021, at Saulters Moore Chapel.  Rev. Tim Beard officiated.  Interment followed in Dublin Cemetery in Prentiss.  Polly, age 90, passed away Saturday afternoon, June 5, 2021, at Covington County Hospital in Collins.

Pallbearers were Dr. Martin Harvey, Caleb Williamson, Bob Shoemake, Roman Shoemake, Bobby Knight and Chris Graves.

Polly was born Sept. 2, 1930, in Jefferson Davis County.  She was the daughter of the late John C. and Annie Kirkley King. Polly was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star for over 70 years.   In addition to working at Daniel’s Dry Goods for over 20 years, she also worked for Danny’s Fried Chicken, Miladys Dress Shop  and Bryant’s Deli in Seminary.  Polly was a member of Dublin Baptist Church.

Mrs. Lundy leaves behind one son, Keith Lundy (Debbie) of Collins and one adopted son, Joe Hutchins of Prentiss.  Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Lundy; son, Wayne Lundy; granddaughter, Kayla Lundy; seven brothers and two sisters.

Visitation was Wednesday afternoon, June 9, 2021, beginning at 1 p.m. until service time at Saulters Moore Funeral Home.
