Funeral services were held Saturday, June 26, 2021, at Johnson Funeral Home Chapel for Mr. John H. Brown, 69, who died Friday, June 18, 2021 at his residence.  Rev. Ronnie Barnes officiated with interment following in Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery.  Johnson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. John H. Brown was born to the late Willie and Rachel Brown in Prentiss.  He was retired from Sanderson Farms as a truck driver.  He was also a part-time carpenter.

He is survived by wife, Exe Jean Hathorn; stepson, Anthony Owens; grandson, DeVante Owens; two sisters, Isaodora Ball and Ann Brown; one brother, Willie Brown and many other relatives and friends.
