Funeral services for Mrs. Marie Williams were held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 3, 2021, at Saulters-Moore Funeral Home Chapel. Mrs. Williams, age 84, passed away from this life on Saturday, June 26, 2021, in Brookhaven.  Interment followed in Greens Creek Cemetery.

Saulters-Moore Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers were Justin Rousse, Joshua Rousse, David Williams and Tracy Lott.

Marie Williams was born on April 14, 1937, in Jefferson Davis County to Clarence Lott and Gladys Williamson Williams. Mrs. Williams was a cook in the food service business. She loved sewing, cooking, gardening, crossword puzzles and also enjoyed watching Law and Order. She was a member of Greens Creek Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Fred Williams.

Mrs. Williams is survived by one daughter, Pamela Taylor (John) of Slidell, Louisiana; one son, David Williams (Jackie) of McComb; two brothers, DeLeon Lott of Carson and Reggie Lott of Prentiss; one sister, June McNease of Carson; 10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was Saturday, July 3, 2021, from noon until 2 p.m. at Saulters-Moore Funeral Home.
