To ensure safety from any downed trees and power lines due to Hurricane Ida, the Town of Prentiss is issuing a city-wide curfew from 8 p.m. Sunday until noon Monday.

“After then, we encourage everyone to stay off the streets to allow work crews and emergency personnel to safely work,” said Prentiss Mayor Charley Dumas. This curfew will be assessed on a daily basis and extended if needed.
