Funeral services were held Saturday, Sept. 11, 2021 at Ruby K. Johnson Chapel for Mr. Mark Anthony Harzog, “Bunny Man” 58, who died Thursday, Sept. 2, 2021 at Jefferson Davis Community Hospital in Prentiss. Rev. Micheal Evans officiated with interment following in Green Grove Baptist Church cemetery in Prentiss. Johnson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Mark Hartzog was born to the late Lawrence Hartzog and Mrs. Joyce Hartzog. He was a member of Green Grove Baptist Church and was a graduate of Prentiss High School.

Mr. Hartzog was a welder for the pipeline and traveled for work for over 25 years.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Marlon Hartzog and son, Patrick Adams.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda; one daughter, Easter (James) Gray of Magee; three sons, Rodney (Dominique) Joshua of Fayetteville, North Carolina; Marcus (Kim) Adams of Batesville and Keith (Maddie) Adams; mother, Joyce Hartzog of Prentiss; brothers, Malcolm Hartzog of Prentiss and Marty (Teka) Hartzog of Acworth, Georgia; 11 grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
