Elijah Wade Keen, infant son of Donavan Keen and Christina Skinner, was delivered prematurely into this world. Eli received his ‘angel wings’ at 11:16 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 20, 2021, at Wesley Medical Center in Hattiesburg.
Saulters Moore Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Anxiously awaiting his arrival were his parents, Donavan Keen and Christina Skinner of Collins; his big brother, Owen; his maternal grandparents, Noel Skinner of Bassfield and Jenny Fuller of Florence; his paternal grandparents, Thomas and Leslie Keen of Moss Point and Sidney and Dave Sampson of Collins. Eli is also survived by a host of uncles, aunts and cousins.  Funeral services were conducted Saturday, Nov. 27, 2021, at 11 a.m. at St. Peters Catholic Church in Bassfield. Father Chinnappa Raj Mark officiated. Interment will follow in St. James Cemetery in Bassfield. Tyler Keen and Jacob Skinner served as pallbearers.
Visitation was held at the St. Peters Parish Hall Saturday, Nov. 27, 2021, beginning at 10 a.m. until the hour of service.
