Graveside services were held Saturday, Feb. 12, 2022, at South Pleasant Hill Baptist Church for Ms. Bobbie Ann Thompson, 76, who died Thursday, Jan. 27, 2022, in Powder Springs, Georgia. Rev. Johnny Porter officiated with Johnson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Ms. Bobbie Ann Thompson was born to the late Robert James (R. J.) and Annie Ruth Thompson. She graduated from Carver High School, Bassfield and later attended Mississippi Industrial College (M.I.) attaining her B. S. Degree from Southern Business College in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Ms. Thompson joined Hays Tabernacle C. M. E. Church after moving to Los Angeles, California. She later moved to Powder Springs, Georgia and joined North Metro Church in Marietta, Georgia.

She was preceded in death by three sisters, Willie Katherine, Audrey Faye Thompson and Kenneth Doris Barber.

Ms. Thompson is survived by sisters, Earnestine (Murphy) Larry of Carson, Shirley Thompson of Powder Springs, Georgia, Patricia Thompson of McKinney, Texas and many other relatives and friends.
