Funeral services for Mr. Harry Lee Willliams Sr., 67, Prentiss, were held on Friday, March 4, 2022, at 11 a.m. from the Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Prentiss.  Interment was in the church cemetery.  Rev. Ozell White was the officiant.  Reeves Funeral Home, Inc. of Mount Olive, was in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Williams passed away at Merit Health Wesley Hospital in Hattiesburg,  on Feb.  24, 2022.

Honorary pallbearers were Travis Lampton, Cory Williams, Harry Williams Jr., Desmon Williams, Jaquon Williams and Mathew Burket.

Pallbearers were  John Bass, Erica Bass, Julius Peyton, Lecarlos Williams, Christopher Lockhart, Davion Durr and Jermaine Rushing.

Flower bearers were cousins and friends.

Mr. Williams attended J. E. Johnson High School in Prentiss.  He was baptized at Mt. Zion MBC along with his family by Rev. Issac Magee.   He was an inspiration to his family and friends.  He enjoyed traveling, family gatherings, telling stories and playing on his phone.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Glenn and Annie Mae Williams; son, Aundrea Williams; sister, Jacqueline Willins and brother, Ezra Williams.

Survivors include his loving wife, Bonnie Williams of Prentiss; sons, Travis Lampton and Harry Williams Jr., both of Prentiss; Cory (Kim) Williams and Desmon Williams, all of Hattiesburg; daughter, Angela Williams of Gulfport;  mother-in-law, Arlene Lampton of Hattiesburg; 13 grandchildren, one great-grandchild; sister, Lisa Williams of Prentiss and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
