Funeral services were held Saturday, May 28, 2022, at Ruby K. Johnson Chapel in Prentiss, for Mr. Glenn McArthur Reese, 76, who died Monday, May 16, 2022, at South Sunflower Medical Center, Ruleville. Johnson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Glenn Reese was born in Jefferson Davis County and joined St. Paul Baptist Church at a young age. He attended Carver High School and left school at 15 years of age and farmed until he started working in construction with T. L. Jones and Fairchild Construction. He loved to sing, his favorite R&B song was Nine Pound Steel and his favorite gospel song was God is Still in Charge of my Life.

He is survived by his mother, Dessie Lee Price; brother, James (Lanell) Reese; three sisters, Eloise Price of Chicago, lllinois; Dessie (Billy) Magee of Collins, MS and Shirley (Monlevel) McLeod of Bassfield and many other relatives and friends.
