Funeral services for Mrs. Ruth Helen Daley were conducted at 10 a.m. Friday morning, May 27, 2022, at Saulters-Moore Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Tim Beard officiated.  Mrs. Daley passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2022, at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg.

Saulters Moore Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers were Chase Voss, Nick Daley, Leighton Smith, Jason Stuart, Jacob Finley and Tyler Broom.

Mrs. Daley was born Feb. 6, 1941, in Covington County to Lawrence Graham and Alice Hazel Campbell Speed. She was a homemaker, volunteered at the school and was a member of Carson United Methodist Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, William Ray Daley and brothers, Larry Speed and Johnny Speed.

Mrs. Daley is survived by one son, Larry Daley (Hope) of Carson; two daughters, Lesia Voss (Jeff) of Purvis and Deborah Smith (Thomas) of Purvis; six grandchildren, Chase Voss (Emily), Katelyn Stuart (Jason), Nicholas Daley (Brooke), Natalie Finley (Jacob), Leighton Smith and Taylor Broom (Tyler); seven great-grandchildren, Reed Voss, Daley Stuart, Merryn Stuart, Taylor Daughdrill, Swayze Daley, Knox Daley and Tate Broom; one sister, Sherry McGee (Howard) and one brother, Keith Speed (Patricia).

The family received friends on Thursday, May 26, 2022, from 5 until 8 p.m. at Saulters Moore Funeral Home.
