Funeral services were held Saturday, Dec. 10, 2022, at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church for Mrs. Nora Cecelia Magee, 88, who died Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2022, at Jefferson Davis Community Hospital in Prentiss.  Rev. Dampier officiated with interment following at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Prentiss.  Johnson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Nora Magee was born to the late Lucas and Laura Guardado. She was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church.

Mrs. Magee was a retired nurse who loved her fur baby, Sunday, her cats and spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by her sons, Tyrone Magee and James Walker both of Prentiss; daughters, Marian Magee of Prentiss; and Laura (Glen) McNair of Mt. Olive and many other relatives and friends.
