After school program starts in JDCSD

The Jefferson Davis County School District has started an Extended School Day Program.
The two-hour program began Jan 24. Hours for the program are 3:15 p.m. until 5:15.
All four schools, J. E. Johnson, G. W. Carver, Jefferson Davis County Middle School and Jefferson Davis County High School will participate in this program that includes grades 3-10.
Transportation and healthy snacks will be provided.
Excellent teachers will offer tutoring and homework help with a focus on math and reading. This intensive learning will also be an effort to improve grade and test scores.
