Officers with the Prentiss Police Department conducted a traffic stop at 6 a.m. on March 26 at the Valero Gas Station in Prentiss. The officers found a subject by the name of Marcus Adams to be in possession of 2.6 ounces of methamphetamine and 26 dosage units of Fentanyl pills. Adams was transported to the Jefferson Davis County Jail and charged with trafficking of a controlled substance and possession of controlled substance with intent to distribute.
