Funeral services were held Saturday, April 1, 2023, at Ruby K. Johnson Chapel in Prentiss, for Mr. Willie Norwell Thomas, 51, who passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2023, at Jefferson Davis Community Hospital in Prentiss. Rev. Harold Gholar officiated with interment held Monday April 3, 2023, at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Vicksburg. Johnson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Willie Norwell Thomas is the son of the late Willie Wright and Mary Joe Thomas. He was a member of New Life Fellowship and loved being around family and friends.

He is survived by his children, Rodricus Johnson, Nakeisha Johnson, Remarcus Davis; brothers, Derrick Wright, Jeremy Wright, Edward Wright; sister, Shonda Wright; four grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
