Funeral services for Mrs. Nelladeane Viniard were held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 29, 2023, at Turner Church, Turner Community, with Rev. Glen Turner officiating. Interment followed in Turner Church Cemetery, under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Oakdale.

Mrs. Viniard, 98, entered into the eternal rest of her Lord on Tuesday, July 25, 2023, in Bassfield.

Mrs. Nelladeane Turner Viniard was born on Dec. 22, 1924, in Pitkin, Louisiana, to Sam and Maggie Morrow Turner. 

A homemaker, she was loved dearly by her family and will be missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William E. Viniard; two sons, Billy Warren Viniard and Danny Ray Viniard; her parents, Sam and Maggie Turner; one brother, Huey Turner; and one sister, Gerry Green.

Her memory will forever be cherished by her daughter-in-law, Doris Viniard; four grandsons, Craig Viniard, Chad Viniard, Tony Viniard, and Sammy Viniard; nine great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; and one sister, Sylvia Wright of Shreveport.

A time of visitation was held at Turner Church, Turner Community, on Saturday, July 29, 2023, at 9 a.m. until time of the service.
