Visitation services were held Saturday, Aug. 19, 2023, at Johnson Funeral Home for Mr. Lydell Lionel Butler 69, who passed away on Monday July 31, 2023, at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg. Johnson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements

He is the son of the late Clara Watts. He was a member of Springhill Baptist Church.

Mr. Butler loved clothes, hats, shoes, watching television, working on cars, old school music, and spending time with family and friends.

He is survived by his children, Traveront Farmer, Highwood, Illinois; LaTia (Brian) Glover, Tampa, Florida; Lionel Butler Jr., Prentiss; Lydell “Dell” Butler II, Minneapolis, Minnesota; 10 grandchildren, and many other relatives and friends.
