Graveside services were held Thursday, Sept. 28, 2023, at White Family Cemetery for Master Khyson De’vontez White, 8, who died Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2023, at his residence. Rev Thomas Ruffin officiated.

Johnson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Master Khyson White was born to Mr. Richard White and Miss Mocha Myers in Gulfport. 

He was a third-grade student at West Wortham of Saucier. 

He attended New Beginning Ministry where Rev. Thomas Ruffin is the pastor.

He loved to play Playstation 5, go to the trampoline park and do Tik Tok videos.

Math was his favorite subject in school and loved spending time with his mother and sister.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother Earvene Sumrall; maternal grandmother, Mary Maude Myers; two grandfathers, Willie Holloway and Jessie L. Myers; two uncles, Tamaege White and Van A. Myers.

He is survived by his parents, Richard (Von) White of Prentiss; and Mocha N. (Tae) Myers of Saucier; two sisters: Ty’Quana Herrion of Saucier; and Kiara White of Mendenhall; one niece, Saylor Raye Oatis of Saucier and many other relatives and friends.
