Funeral services were held Saturday, Dec. 2, 2023, at Prentiss First Missionary Baptist Church for Miss Florence “Flo” Fairley, 70, who died Saturday, Nov. 25, 2023, at Jefferson Davis Community Hospital in Prentiss. 

Johnson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Miss Florence Fairley was born to the late  Irene Fairley and Jones Oatis in Prentiss.  She was a member of Prentiss First Baptist Church.

She worked at Universal Magnetek Manufacturing for over 30 years and later worked as dietary aide at Jefferson Davis Extended Care Facility and Sanderson Farms.

Miss Fairley was preceded in death by her daughter, Stacey Fairley, three brothers: Larry Hall, Tommy Fairley and Billy Fairley and two sisters, Laura Poole and Wendy Fairley.

She is survived by four sons, Tracy (Joanna) Fairley, Christopher Fairley and Marquis Fairley all of Bassfield; Anthony Fairley of Madison; one daughter, Belisa Fairley of Bassfield; ten grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; three sisters, Janie Fairley, Joann Fairley and Michelle Fairley all of Prentiss; two brothers: Jerry Fairley of Prentiss, and Randy Fairley of Seminary and many other relatives and friends.
