Funeral services were held Saturday, Feb. 24, 2024, at Zion Hill Church of God in Christ in Silver Creek, for Mrs. Geneva Longino Patton, 63, who died Friday, Feb. 16, 2024, at Asbury Hospice House in Hattiesburg. Johnson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Geneva Patton was born to the late Magline Oatis in Prentiss.  She attended Zion Hill Church of God in Christ. She was married to Mr. David Patton.

Mrs. Patton is survived by her husband, David Patton of Phoenix, Arizona; brother, Timothy Longino; sisters, Vanessa Hobbs and Brenda (Plez) Blanchard-Armstrong all of Prentiss; special aunt, Laverne Longino whom she called Mama Verne; special cousin, Kimbale Longino and many other relatives and friends.
