The Jefferson Davis County Sheriff’s Department is seeking photos of fomer county sheriffs that have served the county.

The photos will be displayed in the new justice complex in Prentiss.

“We want to honor and remember these men that have served and protected our county since its inception in 1906,” said Jefferson Davis County Chief Deputy Frank Riley.

Those that have served prior to Sheriff Ron Strickland include G. G. Holloway, John Laird, S. G. Magee, G. W. Holloway, Vernon Terrell, W. H. Mathison, A. Houston Polk, S. Gwin Magee, G. Oury Berry, B. L. Letchworth, Shelby S. Michael, D. E. Grubbs, Dan Sinclair, Kermit Hathorn, Roger Lee, Gary Jones, Tom Brown, Hal Magee, Charles Stringer and Henry McCullum.
