Funeral services were held Saturday, May 25, 2024, at Oak Grove Baptist Church, in Monticello, for Mr. Larry Brown, 70, who died Saturday, May 18, 2024, at his residence. Rev. Joseph Hooker, pastor, officiated with interment following in the church cemetery. Johnson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Larry Brown was born to the late Odell and Mary Brown. He was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church and was an honorary deacon.

He was preceded in death by: brother, John Cherry Brown.

He is survived by: sisters, Nora Brown, Margaret Brown, Veronica Brown all of Monticello; brothers, Odell Brown, Jr., of Monticello; James Brown of Brookhaven; Kent Aultman of Prentiss; aunt, Audrey Brown; special friend, John Eley; caregiver, R. D. Brown.
