Funeral services were held Saturday, May 25, 2024, at St. Paul Baptist Church in Bassfield, for Miss Millie Mae Keys, 76, who died Wednesday, May 15, 2024, at her residence.

Rev. Henry Kelly officiated with interment following at Wheeler Cemetery in Bassfield.

Johnson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Miss Millie Mae Keys was born to the late Jim and Lessie Lue Keys. She was a member of St. Paul Baptist Church, Bassfield. She enjoyed coloring, watching Wheel of Fortune, and being outdoors.

She was preceded in death by her siblings, Emma L. Reese, Louise Mayfield, Sylvester Gardner and Willie J. Keys.

She is survived by four sisters, Joyce Harper-Nelson; Irish Lynn Harper, Emma Jean Fairley and Shirley (Lamond) Reese-McLeod; one brother, James (Dot) Reese and many other relatives and friends.
