A memorial service for Cindy Williams Courtney was held on June 29, 2024 at 11a.m, at Oak Grove Church in Prentiss, with Bro. Terry Wallace officiating.

Cindy went to be with her Lord and Savior on June 23, 2024, after a battle with cancer in Sherwood, Arkansas, surrounded by her loving family. 

Cindy worked for the Jefferson Davis County Tax Assessors Office for 20 years . She later worked a J C Penny Salon for 10 years.

Cindy was preceded in death by her husband Douglas Courtney, father Jack G. Williams and mother, Sue Williams Burns. Cindy was also preceded in death by her grandparents.

Cindy is survived by daughter Dora B. Clinton, son in law Joshua Clinton and grandson Jack Clinton. Cindy is also survived by sister Gail Williams and brother Randy Williams.
