Funeral services were held Saturday, Aug. 3, 2024, at Point Pleasant Baptist Church in Mt. Olive, for Mr. Eddie Earl Quinn, 67, who died Wednesday, July 24, 2024, at South Central Regional Hospital in Laurel..  Rev. Kenneth Hall, pastor, officiated with interment following in the church cemetery.  Johnson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Eddie Earl Quinn is the son of the late Shirley Mae Quinn.  He graduated from Mt. Olive High School and continued his education at Jones Junior College. He served in the Marines, Universal Magnetek, substitute teacher at Mt. Olive, and was currently employed at Wayne Sanderson Farms.

He was preceded in death by adopted Otis and Deerillar Nelson and his grandmother, Martha Wilson.

He is survived by his daughter, Trica Bramlett of Prentiss; two granddaughters; three sisters, Bettye Posey of D’Lo, Nina McCullom and Velma Weathersby both of Mt. Olive and many other relatives and friends.
