Memorial services were held Saturday, Oct. 12, 2024, at Ruby K. Johnson Chapel for Mrs. Helena Rose Teasley, 62, who died Sept. 13, 2024.

Elder James Holloway officiated.

Mrs. Helena Teasley was born to the late Jhalma Sutton in Monticello, New York.

She attended Bethlehem Temple Church and Monticello High School. She worked in the hotel industry most of her adult life.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Leiira Rene Teasley and sister, Eula Marcial.

She is survived by: daughter, Kimberly Teasley of Temple, Texas; two sons, Mostaphus Teasely of Temple, Texas and Dorian Dezell of Greenwood; four grandchildren; brother, Arronda Sutton of Monticello, NY; sister, Geraldine Smith of Charlotte, North Carolina and many other relatives and friends.
